Admission free public property The museum is divided into two different sections: the origin and evolution of man (glass cases with human remains supplemented with educational panels), and the anthropology history in Rome (with educational panels, photographs and written texts, from positivism until today). Remarkable exhibits: two fossil remains from Saccopastore dating back to 120.000 years ago, the vast Neanderthal skull collection from the Iron Age necropolis of Alfedena, and several Etruscan and Roman skull fragments. |
