Admission free public property The museum is located in five rooms and is divided into two sections: classical physics and modern physics. It houses 19th and early 20th-century scientific instruments, some of which were used by Fermi's group, as well as various apparata for the study of radioactivity, and the model of the Conversi-Pancini-Piccioni experiment on sub-atomic particles. Among the 19th-century instruments: a series of balances (among which a precision one by Scateni and a brass hydrostatic one), several acoustical instruments and a collection of spectroscopes and electromagnetic instruments. |
