Admission charges: full price Lit. 5,000, concessions Lit. 3,000 private property It is the house (re-opened in 1997) where great German poet J. W. von Goethe lived from 1786 to 1788. It collects drawings, paintings, original manuscripts, rare editions and sculptures. Remarkable exhibit: a portrait of Goethe by Andy Warhol. Temporary exhibitions are occasionally held. |
