Admission free public property The museum houses a collection of medals, many of which are very old and valuable. On display, 19th and 20th-century medals; wax models by G. and F. Bianchi; Papal State annual medals. Remarkable exhibits: the series of coins belonging to the various Italian States from Middle Ages to the Kingdom of Italy; the Italian Republic coins; the 4,000 was models by Benedetto Pistrucci, coiner at the Royal Mint in London, inventor of the sterling's model. |
