The museum is closed on Mondays (except for bookings), 25th December 1st January, Easter, 15th August.
Guided visits available in Italian and foreign languages (French, English, Spanish) subject to booking.
Included in the entrance fee, visitors may make use of the "Autoguida Tip" service.

Description: The Diocesan Museum is situated in the splendid setting of the Castelli Romani, in the Cathedral cloister at Velletri. It contains works of art of inestimable value which are precious, above all, for their uniqueness. These include the "Croce Veliterna", a precious reliquary of the XI-XIIth century with gold filigrees and enamels; works by Gentile da Fabriano, Bicci di Lorenzo, Antoniazzo Romano, Giovan Battista Rositi, Francesco da Siena as well as extraordinary vestments and liturgical ornaments.
