Municipal Museum

Opening time: 10-12.30 and 15.30-18 (winter); 10-13 and 15.30-19 (summer) • closed Mon. The museum is housed in the Town Hall's premises and exhibits paintings and other art works of the Senese school, from the 13th to the 17th century, a collection of church furnishings and goldsmithery. Remarkable exhibits: the Tree of Saint Francis, a masterpiece of Senese liturgical goldsmithery (1350-1471); the Madonna with Child by Luca Signorelli; the St. Bernardine by Pietro di Giovanni, dated 1448.
