Description: The antique cathedral of Fiesole was rebuilt in 1456 in Brunelleschi
style. Its splendid interior has harmonious decorations. The adjoining former convent,
which now houses the European University Institution, has a fine cloister, loggia and
refectory with frescoes. Note also the church of St. Domenico ("Madonna e Santi"
dell'Angelico) and S. Francesco. |
