To visit: On request at the U.S.L. 10/D, Affari Generali. Description: This former castle was bought by the Medici in 1417; Michelozzi was commissioned to decorate it. Its courtyard and portico by Michelozzi are splendid. During the times of Lorenzo il Magnifico, the villa was a rendezvous for artists, men of letters and philosophers. There is a fine Italian style garden. |
