Description: This church was erected in 1200 and reconstructed by Michelozzo in the 15C.
The portico's lunettes are adorned with frescoes by Rosso Fiorentino, Pontormo,
Franciabigio, A.del Sarto, Baldovinetti and Rosselli. The interior is in Baroque style;
chapel by Michelozzo, frescoes by A. del Castagno, works by B. Rossellino and others by
Michelozzo with L.B. Alberti.
The 15C "Cloister of the Dead" is decorated with a fresco by A. del Sarto. |
