Description: A unique museum of its kind which presents the development of modern science and technology from the Renaissance period to the 20C. A rich array of mathematical, optical, thermal, mechanical, hydraulical, astronomical, surgical instruments and apparatus, diurnal and nocturnal clocks; globes, planispheres, astronomical spheres and pilots books. The first telescopes and other rare pieces used by Galileo Galilei and the Accademia del Cimento. |
