The trip to discover the unpolluted and selvatic Calabrian mountain nature begins where the The Pollino National Park covers part of the Province of Potenza and Matera and also Calabria in part, in the Province of Cosenza. The Park, with its mountains that in some places rise above 2000 metres, have an interesting variety of natural environment that spans from the mediterranean bush to the forests of Oaks and Beeches; from the Maples and the Whire Firs
to the amazing Pines.The area is populated by Deers, Wolves, Foxes and a few birels of prey such as Hawks, Falcons and Eagles. In the Park are didactic meetings to bring young people closer to nature, bat also various courses for the discovery of the antique Mills, Convents, Abbeys, Fortresses and Castles. Agriculture and Stock Breeding, but also the Craftsman trade are the principal activities of the Park.
