Cilento and Vallo di Diano National Park with the Archeological sites of Paestum and Velia, and the Certosa di Padula
, a hamlet of Pollica that has been awarded the Blue Flag for its clean and crystalline water, is situated in the coastal part of the Cilento National Park. The village stands on a small strip of land jutting out into the Tyrrhenian Sea. At the end of this strip of land washed by the sea, you can see the little church of Our Lady of the Annunciation and the three Saracen towers. The tiny harbour of this picturesque little town, where also Hemingway had a short charming stay, has got clear and deep blue waters and it is able to offer the guests every required service directly on the wharfs. Acciaroli is a meeting place for many tourists, and is one of the least-touched villages by modern development. It has kept its historic coastal village characteristic with an economy based prevalently on fishing. Another characteristic is the Mild Climate all year long that allows sunbathing from April to October. The rare water-lily still opens on the golden beach and it impregnates the air with its very intense scent.
At Acciaroli, there is tourist accommodation available in hotels, farm holiday, farmhouse, residence self-catering accommodation, b&b, rooms for rent, holiday homes, camp sites and tourist villages.
