Venzone is a middle-valley town to the north-east of Udine. Razed to the ground by the disastrous earthquake in 1976, today, Venzone has been knowingly rebuilt, recuperating its original aspect.
The walls, the palaces and the houses have all been reconstructed by carefully using the original stones and integrating new ones to replace those destroyed.
The Palazzo Comunale (Town Hall), a building of the 1400’s in Venetian-gothic style, is in the heart of the historical centre, in a beautiful piazza decorated with flowers.
