The origin of Coreglia Ligure, which is situated 308 metres above sea level and 50 kilometres from Genoa, originates from one of the many Roman settlements which were here. Coreglia Ligure does not possess a true historical centre but is composed of a group of scattered houses and a large church, following the structure of the old station stops.
