Borgo Pace is a small village, 450 meters high, situated on a valley, looking out over the magnificent panorama offered by the highlands, a territory that extends between the Adriatic Sea and the Apennine Mountain range and which retains all the signs of its past history intact on the border to Tuscany and Umbria with rich traditions and culture. This area is surrounded by pinewoods of several types of trees.
Of great interest is the parrochial church of Santa Maria Nuova. Inside, Madonna and Child polychrome majolica statues are to be found in the apse, as are frescoes and paintings. Also of interest is the architecture of Palazzo Mucci and of other stone buildings which magically blend in with the surrounding natural environment.
