This charming small hotel is housed in a 15th century palazzo, once a Franciscan monastery, in Cannobio, a captivating village on the shores of Lake Maggiore. Sympathetic restoration of the building has successfully established perfect harmony between the ancient structure and the functional requirements of a modern hotel. The Hotel Pironi today boasts a blend of original frescoes, antiques, vaulted ceilings, medieval stone columns and examples of modern furnishing. The palazzo's old cellars have been converted into an extremely atmospheric bar-tavern with stone walls and vaulted ceilings.
