The territory of Pula, in the South of the Sardinia, is composed of long, white beaches of fine sand and transparent waters, small bays trapped between rocky headlands, a limpid sea which reflects and exalts the blue of the sky. A cultural wealth of infinite value: crystal clear sea, nature, archaeology, wonderful beaches and coves framed by rocks and the thick undergrowth of pines and oaks crossed by streams. The sea is poPulated by numerous species of fish and in the inland, thick with holm oaks, chestnuts and Mediterranean maquis, Sardinian deer and fallow deer live in freedom along with the red woodpecker, the raven and the royal eagle.
Nowadays Pula, especially during the summer period, welcomes thousands of tourists who arrive from all around the world, increasing the number of people present in its municipality tenfold, but it manages never to fall into chaos, thanks to the wide extension of its territory. One characteristic of Pula is its mild climate all year round, having temperatures which are never too rigid, thus permitting tourists to visit in any month of the year. As well as the sea, the natural environment offers green woodlands and Mediterranean maquis, ideal for excursions on the sunny days throughout the whole year. Pula town centre is the ideal place to go for shopping and for passing the evening hours out in the open in the beautiful piazzas where, every summer, there is a review of shows and performances. The historical centre, complete with stone-paved streets is both aesthetically inviting and well kept.
At Pula, there is certainly no lack of choice as far as accommodation is concerned.
