The contours intersect, forming uneven shapes which play with the light. The harsh contrasts seem to stand out even more as you enter further inside and are left with just three elements: the rock, the water and the sky.
As you gradually venture between the towering walls of rock, at times in the shape of prisms, at others shaped like stacks of wood, you are visited by indescribable emotions, created by the light which only just manages to filter through down into the deep, narrow gorge.
The Gorges have an average width of approximately 5 metres and, in some places, their height exceeds 50 metres, while they stretch for a length of 400 metres.
