The present National Park of the Casentino Forests, Mount Falterona and Campigna is on parts of the historical territories of Romagna, the Casentino area and a small portion of Mugello. Today the National Park of the Casentino Forests, Mount Falterona and Campigna is divided among the Forlė-Cesena districts, the Arezzo and Florence districts. Five municipalities are in the province of Arezzo (Bibbiena, Chiusi della Verna, Poppi, Pratovecchio, Stia), five in the Forli-Cesena administration (Bagno di Romagna, Portico San Benedetto, Premilcuore, Santa Sofia, Tredozio) and two in the Florence territory (Londa, San Godenzo).
Set up in 1993, the National Park of the Casentino Forests, Mount Falterona and Campigna extends over the ridge of the Tuscan- Romagna Appenine.

At National Park of the Casentino Forests, Mount Falterona and Campigna, there is tourist accommodation available in hotels, farm holiday, farmhouse, residence self-catering accommodation, mountain chalets, b&b, rooms for rent, holiday homes, camp sites and tourist villages.
