The large beach of Lacona is located in Elba's deepest gulf (about 3 km); it has the charm and fascination of giving a sensation of the infinite, of complete freedom, in reflection of the wide open spaces and the distant horizons of the panoramas surrounding it.
Situated in the south-eastern part of the island, between the Fonza massif on the right and the Capo Stella peninsula on the left, it is the largest beach in Capoliveri's territory with an expanse of a kilometre of white sand.
