Villa Bengodi is dedicated to those who love the scents or the Mediterranean maquis and the typical atmosphere of Maremma. Villa Bengodi, built at the end of the 18th Century on the top of an extremely green hill close to the sea, is a typical refined farmhouse surrounded of land cultivated with cereals and olive trees. The building has maintained till today the original structure composed by a central block, with independent entrance, composed of large bedrooms with bathroom, dining room, living room, TV room and kitchen.
The views over the sea and the garden contribute to make the guests' stay at Villa Bengodi particularly pleasant, where the colours of the sunsets are unforgettable. Around the villa a magnificent garden with secular palms, many types of agave, holm oaks and maquis, creates a unique environment. From the garden a descent leads directly to a little free beach of sand and rocks. Villa Bengodi is surrounded by an equipped route among cypress trees and Mediterranean vegetation.
People who desire to make trekking can visit the Parco Natural della Maremma, which extends from Talamone (4 km away). Inside the park it is possible to observe animals of rare species which live in a wild state.
