We provide a varied menu influenced by the local Tirolese cuisine which is fused with classic Italian cuisine. Surrounded by a magnificent mountain panorama, in the Alta Punteria dolomites, nestles the small town of Versciaco (part of San Candido) where holidays can be enjoyed in all seasons. The hotel has been in existence since the eighteenth century, and even today evidence of those past times pervades, as the walls themselves seem to ooze history. Following impressive reconstruction work this renowned hotel can offer splendid accommodation. Our family-run hotel is an ideal starting point for activities such as hiking, cycling, skiing (on and off-piste) and you can take part in cross-country skiing. Going for a gentle drive is an alternative way to feast your eyes upon what Mother Nature can offer. There is a bus-stop directly opposite the hotel, and with a tourist season-ticket you are free to adventure further. Tickets are available from reception desk. We can provide a pick-up and drop-off service (to/from Versciaco) for our guests who are travelling by train to San Candido station. We also offer free-entry tickets for the Aquafun swimming-pool in San Candido to all our guests staying at the hotel Löwe.
