At the end of the valley lies the valley station of the Schnals Valley glacier cable railway. In just 6 minutes you can reach the glacier area covered the whole year round with ice at 3200 meters above sea level. It is a true paradise for skiers and snowboarders. Vernago al lago – this town, on the shores of the man made lake of the same name, is an obligatory destination for the romantic at heart. There is romance in its sunny position on the lake, in the walks through its woods. The pathway around the lake with its two suspension bridges is quite unique. "Friends of Ötzi", attention: from Vernago, going towards Val di Tisa, it is possible to reach the actual location where the "Man from the ice" was discovered. Maso Corto - A paradise for for sports and excursion enthusiasts, departure point for the Ghiacciai Val Senales Cableway and a modern skiing centre where it is possible to ski and snowboard all year round.
