History has left many signs in Valsugana: traces of the ancient Romans can be found along the Via Claudia Augusta, on the ridge dividing the Levico Lake from the Caldonazzo Lake; the Medieval Age can be remembered while admiring the unchanged large chambers at the Pergine Castle or the Magnifica Corte Trapp; signs of the unforgettable Great War are evident in the ruins and
communication trenches of the Fort of Tenna, Forte Col de le Bene, Forte Busa Verle and Forte del Pizzo or Cima Vezzena.
Valsugana can be considered a truly natural gym where many various sports can be carried out: swimming, sailing, canoeing, rowing, dragon-boat, windsurfing, water-skiing and fishing in the Lakes of Caldonazzo and Levico..., cycling and mountain-biking along the cycle lanes and the mountain tracks, trekking and hiking on the Lagorai mountain range or on the Vezzena Highland, paragliding and hang-gliding for the more adventurous, horse-riding tours, golf, tennis, orienteering, archery or simple but healthy walks immersed in nature and along the lakeshores.
At Valsugana, there is tourist accommodation available in hotels, farm holiday, farmhouse, residence self-catering accommodation, mountain chalets, b&b, rooms for rent, holiday homes, camp sites and tourist villages.
