Soraga, a charming hamlet considered to be one of the oldest settlements in Val di Fassa, has maintained many of its original characteristics.
The village is situated on the side of Valaccia and is dominated by the Catinaccio group, with its Roda di Vael. This characteristic community of Valle di Fassa is totally devoted to peace and relaxation. Offering all its fans the chance of fabulous walks. In winter, cross-country skiers find a veritable paradise of tracks close to their hotels, while downhill skiers can easily reach the nearby ski areas by ski bus in few minutes.
Soraga, in Ladin "Sorega" derives from the Latin words "super aqua" and clearly defines the position of the village with respect to the Avisio river.
