Clear etruscan origins, Baschi, takes the latin name Vasculum. First knowledge go back
to 1235, when already fortified, it was under jurisdiction of their own
seigniory. Even though free commune, it kept itself under the influence of the
family Baschi until the middle of the XVIth century when a succession of
confiscations perpetrated damaging their own seigniorys and demolition of their
castle, it enters definitively within the limits of Papal power.

The sanctuary della «Pasquerella» or Santa Maria dello Scoglio - The Pantanelli
Monastery where San Francesco from Assisi, Jacopone from Todi, San Bernardino
from Feltre, San Bernardino from Siena and the Holy Ambrogio from Milano
resided - The S. Maria Assunta and San Valentino di Acqualoreto churches.
