Battaglia Terme is located on the banks of its canal, and runs along the road that goes from Padua to Monselice, not far from the most eastern part of the Euganean Hills. The town is very much in touch with the water. The canal that crosses the centre of the town, linking Padua to Monselice and then goes in the direction of the sea, until ten years ago made Battaglia Terme an important place for the river trade.
Today Battaglia Terme is more well known for the hot water springs, already famous in the past like the neighbouring centres of Abano and Montegrotto. The Catajo's Castle is very interesting (XVI century) and is surrounded by a beautiful garden with age-old trees.
