The area of Teolo is the shape of an irregular "eight" with two quite distinct
zones; in the western part, mostly mountainous there is Teolo (165 metres), chief
town of the Community and tourist location deep in the green of the Euganean
Hills; in the eastern part it is mainly flat land and here stands the famous Abbey
of Praglia (XI century).
In the centre of Teolo there is a place called Treponti located along the
road that goes from Padua to Teolo, while in Monteortone near Abano, there is the
thermal area. Teolo is renowned for being the area where DOC wine of the Euganean
Hills are produced.
