San Martino Buon Albergo, a small town in the western part of the Veneto region, is located along the state road, to the east of the region’s main town. From the road itself, it is possible to glimpse the beautiful parkland of the seventeenth century "la Musella" villa.
The centre of San Martino Buon Albergo is crossed by the Fibbio canal which once supplied water to a paper mill as well as other mills. Here, there is the Parish church (1744), together with its bell tower from the fourteen hundreds which preserves a Madonna with Child in stone dating from the year 1300.
The origins of San Martino Buon Albergo as an urban settlement go back to the year 1146, a year in which the town began to expand its territory. The country wards are: Marcellise, Mambrotta and Ferrazze.
