The museum illustrates the history of pre-Roman peoples by means of plater casts, maquettes, graphic representations and other kinds of reproductions. It houses material coming from the Gorga Collection as well as from two exhibitions: Etruscan Art and Civilization held in Milan in 1955, and Etrurian Sanctuaries held in 1985. There is also a small collection of plaster casts and mock-ups of Etruscan painted tombs. The material is displayed according to educational criteria.
