Aitora derives its name by one of the many natural founts of sulfur water of the Montecatini Val di Cecina area. This founts were used since the Roman Empire for their curative properties. The structure was build in 1720 and has being recently renovated with particular care in retaining the typical black stone commonly used in the Montecatini area.
