The hotel was founded in 1952 and was completely restructured and extended. All rooms are provided with bathroom, hair-dryer, Sat-TV and telephone. Most rooms also have a large balcony.

It owes its fortune to the fact that it has always placed emphasis on the kitchen, which is run and supervised by the owners themselves. The hotel boasts three dining-rooms. Specialities include: wild-boar or venison fum accompanied by mocetta di camoscio (chamois), paglia e fieno with venison sauce, tortelloni with chamois in a venison sauce, grilled wild-boar chops, braised venison. Served with polenta and mushrooms, complemented with Trevignano and Frulian wines.
